Active Play is launching  After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) offerings at Hyde Addison beginning at the start of the 2024 school year! A wide range of programs will be available that run throughout five different seasons within each school year, including Fall(1), Fall(2), Winter, Spring, and Summer. Here are a few important notes regarding our first round of registration: 

• Our programs rotate each season to provide students with a diverse selection of options, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

• Please find the weekly schedule for Fall(1) and Fall(2) below. Registration for our programs will open on Friday, June 14th for both seasons. Please note that our programs follow a first-come-first-serve policy.

•  The class descriptions can be found listed below. 

• You can find the dates for the Fall(1) and Fall(2) season on our weekly schedule below. For the dates of each remaining season, read our Active Play Parent Handbook. Our programs operate on every full school day according to the DCPS calendar except for the first week of school, last week of school and week prior to winter break. 

• All programs run directly after school, from 3:15 to 4:30. Your children will be escorted to our program by their homeroom teacher immediately after school. After our program ends, students enrolled in aftercare will be escorted to the aftercare provider, while all other students must be picked up promptly.

• Students 2nd-5th have the opportunity to participate in sports programs at Volta Park each day. This requires a 5 minute walk to and from Hyde Addisons campus to the park. Dismissal will take place at Hyde's campus at 4:30 for these programs.

• The cost of the programs ranges from $160 to $250 for the 5 to 8-week season, depending on the class and materials cost.

The registration link will go live at 12 pm on June 14th and can be accessed through the "Register Here" button below. Each family needs only one account, but parents will have to submit separate registration forms for each program. If you already do not have a Teamsnap Account, you will not be able to create one until registration opens.
