Active Play Hockey League
About the APHL
The Active Play Hockey League is a co-ed street hockey league for youth players. Teams will face-off against one another in a six-game season to determine seeding for an end of season tournament (one day event).

- For Ages 5-10, for all experience and skill levels!
- League will be made up of three divisions
- Sign up for a division which are recommended* by age groups. (5yrs-6yrs, 7yrs-8yrs, 9yrs-10yrs).
- Each team consists of 8-rosters spots
- Games will be played 4v4 with goalies to make it 5 on the court at a time.
- Games will be held on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) played between 3pm-8pm depending on your team division and schedule
- Games are 50 minutes long consisting of a 5 minute warm up, two 20 minute halves plus a 5 minute halftime.
- Games will be held in Bethesda MD, Location TBD.
- Practices will be a first come first serve option for player in the league
- Practice options will be made available shortly after league registration closes

Carlson, a pillar in the community, is dedicated to encouraging and providing hockey programming for the youth of Washington, DC. At Active Play, we share this commitment and are excited to push this valuable initiative.
Fall Logistics:

Fall Hockey season kicks off September 14th and the end of season tournament will be the weekend of November 9th

Each player can select one weekly practice session either on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 6-7 PM, held at Key Elementary School (5001 Dana Pl NW)

Games will be held each week on Saturday at Key Elementary School, with each game lasting for a one-hour slot scheduled between 10 AM and 5 PM

Registration covers an Active Play hockey jersey, a stick, one game per week, and one practice session per week
